Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be an artist, to create. I'd see painters and sculptors in movies and I would think to myself, "that's going to be me someday." It took me a while to find my dream job. Seven years after I graduated high school–in fact at the age of 25–I realized that the tasks I most enjoyed at work were those that involved some variation of graphic design, photography, and videography. So, I decided it was finally time to enroll for college and hone my skills.
The classes I've taken at SOU have nurtured my love for the arts and have introduced me to skills such as animation, concept art creation, sound design, and coding. These skills have already enhanced my career so much and I look forward to the continued progress towards my Bachelor of Arts degree.
